    Attacks of September 11, 2001
    The United States and Al Qaeda were involved. Four planes were hijacked by Al Qaeda. It occurred in New York City, where two planes were hijacked and crashed into the twin towers. The third crashed the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and the last one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. It happened on September 11, 2001 from 8:46 a.m. to 10:28 a.m. Osama bin Laden had said in a recording that the attacks were carried out because the Muslims are free and they want to regain freedom for their nation.

    Haifa Bus 37 suicide bombing
    The terrorist group Palestinian group Hamas and Israel were involved. It happened on a bus in Haifa. A terrorist on the bus detonated a bomb under his shirt on a bus, full of students from Haifa University. The attacked killed 17 people and wounded 53. It happened on March 5, 2003. It happened because of the long-time rivalry of the Palestine and Israel's.

    2006 Mumbai Train Bombings
    India was involved, and a terrorist was not found, though India thinks it had to do with Muslims, Al Qaeda, or the Pakistan military spy group. It happened in a Mumbai train station, India’s financial capital. In just 11 minutes, two pressure cooker bombs exploded in a Mumbai train station, killing 209 people and injuring another 700 people. It happened on July 11, 2006. Al Qaeda said it happened because it was a consequence of Indian oppression and suppression of Muslims.

  • 2007 Basilan Beheading Incident

    2007 Basilan Beheading Incident
    It was an armed incident between Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels and the Philippine Army. It happened in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan, Philippines. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels captured and beheaded 14 Philippine Marines. 9 more were injured. It happened on July 10, 2007. It is not yet known why the event occurred.

  • 2009 Fort Hood shooting

    2009 Fort Hood shooting
    The U.S army base and the perpetrator was U.S army general Nidal Hasan were involved. It occurred near Killeen, Texas. Nidal Hasan took a gun, and sat down, surrounded by other soldiers. All of a sudden, he shouted “Allahu Akbar”, and started shooting people. He killed 13 people and injured 33 people. It occurred on November 5, 2009. Hasan was motivated by ISIS, and was starting to believe everything ISIS said.

  • November 2015 Paris attacks

    November 2015 Paris attacks
    Paris was involved, and ISIL. It occurred in Paris; in six different locations. In the six different locations, terrorists bombed and shot at big crowds. After killing many people, they were in a shootout with the police, while holding hostages. 137 people were killed and another 368 people were critically injured. It happened on November 13, 2015. It occurred because it was retaliation against airstrikes in Syria and Iraq.

    2015 Bamako hotel attack
    Al-Mourabitoun, Al Qaeda, and Malian commandos were involved. Bamako, Mali, in a Radisson Blu hotel. Al Qaeda and Al-Mourabitoun stormed a hotel, shouting “Allahu Akbar” took 170 hostages and killed 20 of them in a mass shooting at the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako, Mali. The Malian commandos came and freed the hostages. It happened on November 20, 2015. The attack was carried out in retaliation for government aggression in northern Mali. .

  • 2015 Arish attack

    2015 Arish attack
    ISIS and Egypt were involved. It happened in Egypt, in the city of Al-Arish. A terrorist in a car started driving toward a hotel, but was stopped. However, another militant snuck in and killed 7 people, and injuring ten more. It occurred on November 24, 2015. Egypt has been battling militants in Sinai for years, so this was just another part of the war.

  • San Bernardino Attack

    San Bernardino Attack
    Rizwan Farook, Tashfeen Malik, and innocent people at a banquet were involved. It happened in San Bernardino, at a banquet hall. In a banquet, a Pakistani couple opened fire and killed 14 people and seriously injured 22 people. The couple was later killed in a shootout. It occurred on December 2, 2015. The motive is still being investigated.

  • 2016 Brussels bombings

    2016 Brussels bombings
    ISIS/ISIL and Brussels were involved in the bombings. It happened in Brussels, the airport and Maalbeek metro station. In the morning, ISIL had three terrorists detonate nail bombs, two at the airport and one at the station. 32 victims and 3 terrorists were killed, as well as over 300 people were injured. It occurred on March 22, 2016. Belgium was dropping bombs and fighting ISIL, so as a result, the bombings occurred,
