9/11 bombings
On 9/11 4 AL Qaeda terrorist members hijacked 4 planes. 2 crashed into the the world trade center. On one plane the passengers took over the plane and landed it on a field in Pennsylvania . and the last plane crashed into the pentagon. it had a lasting affect on the united states because it was a terrorist attack that happend on their homeland. many people lost their lives civilians and first responders. -
July 7 London bombings
the London bombings were suicide attacks that occurred in central London on July 7. 4 Islamic terrorists used organic peroxide bombs and detonated in the London underground where the trains pass. 52 people died and 700 people were injured. the reason that the terrorists decided to bomb London was because they have a mindset that they are soldiers fighting for their way of life. -
Virgina Tech shooting
in April of 2007 on the campus of Virginia tech a senior student who was declared mentally ill went on a killing spree killing 32 people and wounding 17. he acted alone and there was no reason he had for killing. because of that attack there has been talks over gun policies and who can purchase what. -
Aurora shooting
a shooting occurred in a cinema in Colorado during the midnight showing of the dark knight rises. a gun wearing tactical gear and dresssed as the "joker" shooting inside the theater killing 12 people and inuring seventy others it was the second deadliest attack in Colorado since columbine. the gunman rigged his apartment to explode but the bombs were diffused.the gunman was mentally ill and pleaded insanity in court. -
Sandy Hook school shooting
the sandy hook school shooting in newton Connecticut was a massacre of school children caused by Adam lanza. it was the second most deadliest one man shooting spree in the u.s. he acted alone and their was no reason why he killed all those children. Because of the attack there has been debate over gun control. -
Boston Marathon bombing
the Boston marathon bombings was a terrorist attack that happend in Boston during the marathon caused by two pressure cooker bombs exploding. the people responsible were two brothers they were not apart of any terrorists group but they had influence from them. they themselves decided to bomb the marathon and had plans to bomb more places there was a manhunt for them by the FBI and one of them was captured the other one was killed. -
Charleston church shooting
at the Emanuel African Methodist episcopal church in charleston south carolina a gunman came in during a prayer service killing 9 people and inuring 1. his reason for the killing was hoping to start a race war. he has been affiliated with white supremacy and other things which most people do not like. -
Paris attacks
the November 2015 Paris attacks were coordinated terrorists attacks caused by the isil. the reason they attacked was because the french had airstrikes in Syria and Iraq were the isil were located 3 teams killing many people and bombing many stores and restaurants. -
San Bernardino attack
terrorists killed 14 people and injured 22 in the inland regional center in San Bernardo.it was a mass shooting and the terrorists attempted to bomb the place. a married couple were responsible there goal was to attack a holiday party where 80 employees were attending. the couple were not a part of any terrorist group and have been planning for years. there only reason for the attack was because they were influenced by other terrorist groups. -
Brussles bombings
the 2016 brussles bombings were two attacks that occurred at the the Brussels airport and the maalbeek metro station. three nail bombs were used causing the deaths of 32 people and ijuring 100. the isil were responsible for the bombings because the isil had claimed that they will get back at any nation that was a part of the coalition involved with bombing them in their land.
