Munich Olympics
A group of terrorits broke into the Olypmic Village in Munich. The group of terrorits were Black September. They took nine Israeli coaches, athletes and officials hostage in their apartments. Then the hostages and capters were taken by a helicopter to the military airport to Fürstenfeldbruck. There were 5 terrorists. The ending results were the terrorists dieing. They also killed 2 althletes that resisted. The purpose was to take revenge on King Hussein. -
TWA Flight 841
Abu Nidal and his terrorist organization was caught for suspision. 79 passengers, 9 crew members, and the terrorists died in the end. South Lebanon has control over Palestinian city and their governments. They aimed for Isreal. -
Oktoberfest Teroor Attack
Gundolf Kohler did the attack. 13 people died and 211 were injured after an explosion improvized by by a device at the entrance at the Oktoberfest in Germany. It is uncertain why he did it. -
Pan Am Flight 73
Four armed Palestinian men hijacked a plan that was on the ground in Abu Nidal. 20 of the passengers were killed. The motivation of the attack was to attack the Isreal defense ministry. -
Assassination of Meir Kahane
Meir Kahane was assassinated shprtly after 9:00 PM at the New York Marriott Hotel. He was shpt by a .357 caliber pistol. The perpretrator was believed tp be El Sayyid Nosair. As a result, Nosair was acquitted of muder but served 22 years in prison. -
Acteal Massacre
The Acteal Massacre was a massacre with 45 people attending a prayer meeting at a Roman Catholic Church. There were a various amount of deaths. The reason why is unknown. -
September 11th attack
Osama Bin Laden attacked the Twin Tower buildings in New York. He didn't like America for various reasons. He killed millions of innocent people. He sent over a bunch of people and took off at Boston, Newark, and Washington D.C. -
Boston Marathon Bombing
In the middle of the Boston Marathon, 2 bomb exploded on Boylston Street killing 3 and injuring 200 more. The 2 brothers, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, were on the run for a week. In their week on the run, they killled MIT police officer Sean Collier. It ended in a shoot out in Watertown. Tamerlan was killed and Dzhokar was captured. Their motive was extremist Islamic beliefs.
