In my opinion the 2010s was the software revolution. While fewer world changing inventions like the telephone were invented they were certainly improved upon. Many services and devices rapidly popped up. -

Apple releases the Ipad. The most popular touch screen tablet. -
Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo releases the 3DS. An updated DS featuring 3D and the ability for larger games. -
Google Glass
Released by Google. While it failed commercially it was highly innovative for the time and was a good stepping stone for future virtual reality. -
Apple Watch
Apple releases its first watch. Effectively all the communication aspects of a phone on your wrist. On top of that it can track health information. -
5G Internet
5G internet is made by Telecommunication. It's the current generation technology standard for cellular networks.
