First Camera Phone invented
The first camera phone to be invented was the J-SH04 which was made by Sharp Corporation and exclusive to Japan. No matter what phone you use today however, we all owe credit to this phone for paving the road towards the direction all current phones have taken. people at the time even had the idea of taking selfies long before we began implimenting that in to our more modern technology. This phone was far ahead of its time in many other aspects as well. -
IPod First invented
The IPod was made by Steve Jobs and Tony Fadell. This is was honestly the start of the ban of Ipods from all schools, it truly revolutionized how music was able to be used. I remember having one of these back in school and only ever playing it on the school bus. -
PlayStation 3 Invented
Sony Computer Entertainment released their 3rd installment of the PlayStation series. This for me was incredibly significant because it was the first time a console was released that allowed you to play online with others without having to pay. It's counterpart the Xbox 360 had a subscrition required to play online, however it was more closely monitored and unlike playstation, had less issues with people hacking servers for personal gain. -
First IPhone made
The first ever IPhone created by Apple. It was voted the number one accessory of that year as well the number one invention of the year as it revolutionized the progress of how phones were created from then on. -
IPhone 3G
Manufactured by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (or Foxconn) and distributed by Apple, The first IPhone to be released that had a connection to 3G as ooposed to its predecessors of 2G. This to me is one of the more steady ways of tracking how fast we are progressing in terms of phone technology. Even now we are already at 5Gs, so to be able to see the steady climb over the years is sureal to say the least.
