IPod
The original IPod was invented by Tony Fadell and released to the public in 2001. It was not the first music player, but it was the one that helped revolutionize the amount of songs the users can listen to. It allowed users to download and listen to 1,000 different songs.

Facebook
The Facebook was launched in 2004 by then college student Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes. They created it as a way to connect Harvard University students to each other, but expanded to include other universities in subsequent years. It is not the first social site, but changed how accessible social media became.

Amazon Kindle Tablets
Amazon introduced the first of their Kindle e-readers in 2007. The thought behind this invention was enabling users to download and read books without having to connect to a computer. It took 3 years to develop, twice as much time as the developing team projected.

The IPhone
The original IPhone was announced in January 2007 and released in June of that year. Apple CEO Steve Jobs wanted to create a product that was able to listen to music, call, take photos, and text. He also prioritized a phone that was small and made calling easier, which ironically was not something the original was known for.

Fitbit
James Park and Eric Friedman invented the first Fitbit in 2009. It was a small, attachable device that tracked steps, calories, and distance of the user. This product was inventive as it is a commercialized way to get health data at a fraction of the price that was currently on the market.
