    The first Flying Boat was created by a frenchman named François Denhaut in1912. With the Flying Boats ability to land on water, it allowed people to be rescued in the sea from the air. With its ability to land on water, it also helped militaries save up money as they would not have spend much on expensive runways for landing.

    U-21
    The U-21 was a U-Boat being built between 1911 to 1913 by a company named Kaiserliche Werft Danzig for the German Navy. It became the first submarine to use self-propelled torpedo to successfully sink ships when it sunked a scout cruise known as the HMS Pathfinder
  • DOMELRE (Domestic Electric Refrigerator)

    DOMELRE (Domestic Electric Refrigerator)
    The DOMELRE was among the first electric refrigerators sold. It was created by Fredrick William Wolf Jr. It replaced the use of a block of ice with a electric power cooling device, making food much mor fresh for longer periods of time.

    The British Heavy tank was produced in 1916 and is the first tank to be produced. The inventor was William Tritton. During world war 1, trench warfare had become the norm in the war with neither side gaining a big advantage. The tank was designed to be able to get across the enemy while also being able to defend against weapons such as machine guns.
  • Tommy Gun

    Tommy Gun
    The Tommy Gun was manufactured in 1918 by a man named John T Thompson. While it was originally designed for trench warfare, they would not be used as World War 1 ended by then. The weapons were sold to the public in the 1920's and were often associated with violent gangsters. This molded the imagine of what a gangster looked liked which had an impact on the film industry that portrayed crime at the time.
