I fall in the Gen Z Generation. This generation is known for the growth in its technology and how it can be used for good and bad. -
Wii Sports
In 2007, my family purchased the Wii Sports counsel. This was an especially exciting time as the whole family could engage in the games they offered. We purchased many games such as Just Dance and Super Mario Bro's. We loved to create our Wii character's and my favorite game was Tennis. -
Samsung Galaxy
In 2009, I received my first cell phone that was a Samsung galaxy. My parents purchased this device so we could stay in contact when I was at school or extracurricular activities. I was super happy as kids my age had just started getting cell phones as well. It was an exciting time for my generation with this new touch screen technology. I enjoyed having it however not all my friends had a phone so I would not be able to always contact them on their person device. -
Apex Tablet
In 2011, I got a tablet for Christmas that was the brand Apex. I really enjoyed having this so I could play games and download apps. It was extremally durable as it lasted me until I was 15 years old. The charging port ended up failing. This tablet was an Android product. My dad who is in IT managed to figure out a way to put a lock on which apps I could purchase as well has minor restrictions on the search engines. -
iPhone 5 SE
In 2016, I purchased my own phone! I was super proud of myself and it was actually the first thing I ever "financed". I really enjoyed what was at the time a high quality phone with a good camera to capture memories with. I ended up dropping this in the salt river and retrieving it. Very durable device and though it is not technically water proof, it still worked on a dime for calls, texts, pictures, and so much more! -
Microsoft Surface
In 2022, I got a a Microsoft surface for my current job that I use for work and school. I was very happy to have a device that I could take with me anywhere. I also have mobile internet built into this device. You can use this device as a tablet or a laptop. It has a port where you can connect a key board making it a laptop style device. It is important that I have this device for work to take pictures as well so it has a built in camera.
