Invention of Wifi
The invention of Wi-fi was evolving years before version 802.11 was released. In 1974, Vic Hayes dubbed as the father of Wi-fi helped create a system for use on cashier registers that later developed to the introduction of Wi-fi. The first version provided up to 2 Mbit/s link speeds. This was updated in 1999 to permit 11 Mbit/s link speeds, which is when the internet truly got popular. -
Apple Watch
Upon release the Apple Watch made history for being the first new product line since Steve Jobs departure. With abilities to become a music, TV and fitness control center it had a ton to offer. The product was advertised as a compact and mobile tool used as an addition to the iPhone, but had mixed feedback from customer unsure of it's purpose.
