Xbox 360
Developed and released in 2006 by Microsoft, the Xbox 360 was a follow up console to the original Xbox that was released November 15, 2001. Unlike the previous console, the Xbox 360 focused on online services which brought people together through the use of in-game voice chat, webcams, and match made games. -
Microsoft Zune
Developed and released by Microsoft, the Zune is a media player that is capable of playing music files, videos, photos, radio, and podcasts. It was considered to be a competitor to the iPod back when it came out, however the Zune was ultimately an unsuccessful product. The device had several models released between 2006 and 2010, but was officially discontinued in June of 2012. -
Amazon Kindle
Developed and sold by Amazon, the Kindle is an electronic device that is used to read books and other text files. When originally released back in 2007, the device sold out in under 6 hours. The launch was so popular that it was out of stock for the first 5 months of its release. The Kindles have upgraded over time, competing with modern tablets with the ability to read, watch videos, play games and download apps similar to other tablet devices. -
I Am T-Pain App
Developed and released by Smule (a startup company focused on creating sound apps) in 2009, this app allowed anyone with an iPhone to record themselves with their headphones which created an auto-tune effect similar to T-Pain’s signature sound. The app contained many instrumental versions of T-Pain’s most popular songs and made it easy to record yourself and share with friends and family via email and social networking.
