    Japanese government create this vector based system to create global climate models. Costed 60 billion yen (600 million at the time). This would be the worlds fastest supercomputer from 2002 to 2004. This invention made predicting the weather THAT much easier.
  • PowerMac G5

    PowerMac G5
    Apple released the PowerMac G5 in 2003. Coined as the first personal 64-bit super computer. Known for its distinct anodized aluminum case, the Apply G5 was the most powerful Macintosh released at that point. The ability to access information so easy and quickly would change the world.
  • Amazon Kindle

    Amazon Kindle
    The first reading system to actually gain a following, the Amazon Kindle was released in 2007. The Kindle included an SD card providing increased storage, and wireless access to content via Amazon.com. Reading online ebooks was in, while paperbacks were out. Kindles truly rocked the world the few years they were popular.

    Apple releases the iPhone in 2007, The smartphone incorporated a combination of web browser, music player, and a wireless cellphone. The phone would also include GPS. As well as a coining a new functionality of downloading applications, "apps", from the online Apple store. This would begin the mass obsession with Apple and their phones. Smartphones would forever be changed, as well as the way humans live their lives.

    Apples first "ultra notebook". The MacBook used previous technologies from Apples previous line of laptops, while introducing a solid state disk to replace the traditional hard drive. The sleekness of the MacBook Air would create a trend of compacting technologies. Being portable was the focus. The MacBook Air aided that.
