  • Windows XP

    Microsoft releases their newest operating system to bring everyone into the digital age. This was the first OS from Microsoft that got rid of the very "blocky" look of their previous systems, with shaded and colored task bars, creating a 3d look to everything. Who could forget the iconic default background with green hills and blue sky?
  • Youtube

    First YouTube video is uploaded and changes the way we consume media forever. Just a little over a year after the first video is uploaded, Google purchased YouTube. Today, YouTube is the most used streaming website for consuming video content of all kinds.
  • iPhone

    Steve Jobs presents Apple's newest invention, the iPhone. One of the first to go in the direction of almost all touchscreen, only keeping 4 physical buttons on the device. The original iPhone is still one of the best selling mobile devices of all time, only being eclipsed by later iPhone generations and Nokia devices.
  • Oculus Quest 2

    Oculus releases their successor to the original Quest. VR headsets have existed prior, but this was the first to deliver a true untethered experience to VR. It is currently the highest selling headset of all time with 14.8 million units sold to date.
