The Copper age
It lasted from about 4500 B.C. to 3500 B.C. Copper was being fashioned into implements and gold was made into ornaments approximately 6,000 years ago, which was before the Greek and Roman Empires. -
3500 BCE
The Bronze age
The age of Bronze began when people started mixing copper and tin to create alloys. They discovered Bronze and began making Bronze tools. -
1200 BCE
The age of iron tools
People began using iron tools in the 8th century B.C. in Central Europe and was used in 6th century B.C. Northern Europe.
The Iron age is divided into subsections, Iron I and Iron II. -
Early mechanical tools
Some of the first machines were made in 1764, such as the spinning jenny, or the water frame. -
Tools today
Today advanced tools are everywhere, and are easily accessible to everyone everywhere. There are now a tool for almost everything.
