    I'm gifted to the world
  • Cable tv channels like Nickelodeon and MTV

  • Nintendo NES goes nationwide in US

The NES invented by Masayuki Uemura was invented in 1983 and released in the US starting in 1985, it was not widespread released in the US until 1987.
  • MacIntosh

The Macintosh is invented by Jef Raskin. Though I wouldn't use one in school for years. Because of a huge education program, they became the most used computer in schools. Kids learned technology from an early age and helped to bring in the digital revolution.
  • Discman

The first Sony discman was invented in 1984. Which surprised me. Being able to carry around your CDs and being able to choose your song instantly without rewinding, made it feel so much more accessible. Not to mention the young teen feeling cool carrying hers around.
  • Gameboy invented

The Gameboy by Nintendo was a revolution in handheld gaming. The size and hand-fit made for hours of playing. This came along with the first hand-held game cartridges.
