Start of Computers
Although small businesses could not afford these computers they sparked a huge industry in the business world -
Office Phone
This ohone was introduced in the 70's and allowed people to use mulitple lines which allowed people to take several calls at once, putting people on hold -
Pageboy
Motorola came out with a pocket pager in 1974, although it couldn't store information it let the owner know when he or she was recieving a message. This could have been used by business men who couldn't always be next to their desk phone. -
Personal Computer
IBM released their personal computer which allowed business people to use a text prompt and other useful tools -
Mobile Phone
Motorola released the mobile phone which allowed business men and women to take their business on the go and allowed them to kepp in touch when they weren't in the office -
Laptop
Compaq imrpoved a mobile personal computer with their portable laptop. This helped business expand their horizons and branch out more since they were more mobile. -
Smart Phone
The first smart phone was brought out by IBM. This device combined a pda and a phone helping business people get more organized. -
PDA
Apple introduced the their first Personal Digital Assistant. Their message pad allowed owners to record dates or important things coming up and reminded them of them. -
iMac
Apple introduced their iMac which was a big improvement to computers at the time and was cabiable of much more than it's predicessors. -
Bluetooth
In 1998 the name bluetooth was adopted for the ear piece that syncs with your phone and allows you to talk wirelessly -
Blackberry
The most commonly known blackberry was released that changed a lot for communication and ability on mobile phones for business people. -
iPad
The first apple iPad was intorduced that was a portable tablet that essentially be taken anywhere that your business needs take you -
iMac
The most current iMac was released in 2012 and is capible of more than anyone could have imagined when the origanal release of computers -
Chaos Computing
Chaos computing is expected in the new future and will make current computer chips obsoulet. This chip will also make purchaseing computer items cheaper. -
Bending Glass
Another thing to expect to see in the new future is bendable glass. This glass could be used to make bigger items smaller and take up less space if you are able to bend the glass around to make things fit.
