Mechanical pencils

2003

I used a mechanical pencil for the first time! I no longer had to worry about sharpening my pencils for class.

Calculators

2004

We started to use calculators in my 4th grade math class and it looked just like this one.

CD Player

2005

I carried my CD player everywhere I went. I would listen to it on my way home from school.

Home Computer

2007

My family purchased our first used home computer. We still did not have internet at home, but I was able to type my school assignments.

Cellphone

2008

I got my first cellphone! I was only allowed to use it for emergency's. Just like this picture.

Mp3 Player

2009

I traded my CD player for an MP3. I no longer needed to carry my CD's with me.

IPod

2010

I purchased my first used IPod touch 3rd Generation. I went from only having a limited of 100 songs to so much more and pictures/videos.

Smart Phone

2011

I started working and I bought my first smart phone. No more limit on texting because I had unlimited texting. Which was taken away at school a few times.

Laptop

2013

I purchased my first laptop for college. I attended College of Southern Nevada.

Touch Screen Laptop

2013

I started using a touch screen laptop and my work study job at CSN.
