Alan Turning
Alan Turning was the founder of modern computing. He invented the idea of a "universal machine". This machine could decode and perform any set of instructions. He then ten years later turned his ideas into a revolutionary ideas into a practical idea and plan for electric computer which would be capable for running any program. He did the enigma code and Turing machine which are both a biog part of how we teach computer science grandaunts. -
Calculator
The first calculator also called arithmetic machine had a big importance in the history of computers. It was built by Blaise Pascal between the years 1942-1944 and could only be used to do subtraction and addition and consisted of the numbers 1-9. it is to this day used on a daily bases and had a significant big impact on computers. This principle remained the foundation of all mechanical adding machines for centuries and is still very important. -
Jon Van Neuman
Jon Van Neuman was a mathematician and he started the most common computer program called “Von Neuman Architecture,” this includes data and instructions that are retrieved from the same memory by the Control Unit. The Control Unit's design and implementation is simplified, less expensive, and quicker. Data is processed in the same way from input/output devices and memory. this is important to the history because we use this program still and everyday. -
Eniac
Eniac (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer),was the first programmed computer.This was faster, flexible than the colossus and turning complete.This was made to help win the war but when it was made the war was over.It firsts task was to calculate the construction of a hydrogen bomb. It laid the foundations for the modern electronic computing industry and it showed that high speed digital computing was possible using the vacuum tube technology. -
The invention of the computer mouse
It was called a mouse because of the wire that was linked to the mouse. This was a development to computers in the way that the new mouse was navigated by clicking icons preferably than typing commands. it was also the first technical device to incorporate folders and file servers and even emails.Stanford University invented the first true mouse in 1964 but started inventing in the early 1960s by SRI's Douglas Engelbart,. Then there was a wooden version with a single button on top. -

He is important to the history of coding and computers, he invented the internet. Tim invented the world wide web. He invented it in the year 1989 but the first web went live on august 6 1991.The WWW was a internet based hypermedia initiative for global sharing and information.This was the start of the internet and opened a whole new perspective for everyone.It was a whole new way to connect through the world. This made it easier to share information,this laid the ground for today's internet. -

Larry Page and Sergey Brin created google.They created google at Stanford university in California. Google modified that using the page-rank algorithm it favored the popularity of a website over its relevance, websites becoming more interconnected, famous websites appearing more often and conventionality websites disappearing.This allowed free word searches and made all kinds of data accessible, you could find anything.This had made it a lot easier in our everyday life and using computers.
