It introduced a vital part of modern day video game controllers, the analog stick (though its controller is a monstrosity). Some of the games made for the system had revolutionary game design, with games like Super Mario 64.

What made it different from other search engines of the time is that it runs web pages through an algorithm called PageRank, which measures the importance of web pages, instead of looking for keywords on the website.
