    1990 - Library Computers
I remember when computers in the libraries and computer lab at school were running off of a DOS program. One of the first computer games made was Oregon Trail to play on those computers. No matter how many times I played that game back then, I always remember dying of either a snake bite or pneumonia. It was addicting.

    2000 Gameboy Color
Having a Gameboy Color was the rage back then. It was super popular because of the color display. I remember playing Kirby on it. Fast forward in time, I still find myself playing Kirby on the Nintendo Switch. I also learned to rage quit when I couldn’t pass a specific level.

    2004 Camera Flip Phone
This was my very first cell phone. I had it very briefly, but it was one of the first cell phones that had a camera so I felt really cool in high school up until it got stolen after the first week of school. I ended up having to regress and use my dad’s old brick phone with the green screen. Many people thought my brick phone was a toy. I made good use out of the brick phone, and I was always able to count on its long battery life and great phone signal.

    2007 MP3 Players vs Ipods
Ipods were expensive and I had a strong dislike for itunes at the time. Therefore, I always opted to use other 3rd party mp3 players like Zune and Samsung. I remember it was so much easier to load and share my music using the usb technology instead of having to load everything on itunes! It was one of my favorite techs to use growing up! Was always happy to be able to listen to my favorite jams on repeat! Much more convenient than lugging a CD player around all the time!

    2015 Ipad Mini
For the longest time I was an Android so I avoided any Apple products for as long as I could up until I was in a long distance relationship. The main purpose of getting one was the facetime feature. It was stable and convenient to use. It made it so much easier to video chat with my parents when I had to be away from home. Better late than never right?
