Mac OS X was released on March 24th, 2001 and was created mainly by Steve Jobs. It has enhanced our lives because it led to the invention of iOS and all of Apple's other current operating systems. A lot of the advancements that were first introduced in OS X are still features in the newest release of macOS. -
iPod
The iPod was created by Steve Jobs and released on October 10th, 2001. It has enhanced our lives because it was the first device that allowed people to listen to music whenever and wherever they wanted. Plus, it was able to hold a lot more songs than the other MP3 players that existed at the time. -
YouTube
YouTube was founded by Chad Hurley, Jawed Karim, and Steve Chen on February 14th, 2005. But it didn't officially get released to the public until December 15th of that same year. It has enhanced our lives because it is the most convenient way for people to post or watch videos, allowing people to share ideas and content in a way that was much less common before. -
Wii
The Nintendo Wii was released on November 19th, 2006. Shigeru Miyamoto is the main person credited with the creation of the Wii. It has enhanced our lives because the Wii software was very simple and easy to understand, which allowed everyone to be able to use it, even if they had never played a video game before. The controller had motion sensors, which meant that most actions could be completed by just moving the controller and pressing one button. -
iPhone
The first iPhone was released by Apple on June 29th, 2007. It was created by Steve Jobs. It has enhanced our lives by making it way easier for people to contact each other, access the internet, take pictures and videos, play music, write notes, record audio clips, and more. Some of the other features included were a calendar app, a stocks app, a weather app, and even a built-in GPS, all in a handheld device that could fit in your pocket.
