    A pager is a dedicated RF or radio frequency device that allows the pager user to receive messages broadcast on a specific frequency over a special network of radio base station. It was invented in 1921 by Alfred J. Gross. It was first launched in 1950.

    Martin Cooper, American engineer who led the team that in 1972, built the first mobile cell phone and made the first cell phone call. He is widely regarded as the father of the cellular phone.
    The StarTAC, created by Motorola in1996. It was the world's first flip phone and it cost $1,000. The StarTAC changed everything.
