With the ability to store data on portable flash drives I believe more people were willing to store and transfer data. The first Company to to start selling were Trek Technology. -

Steve Jobs invented apples audio music device that would open up the hand held department of apple and change how most individuals downloaded and listened to music for the next two decades. -

The Nintendo Wii brought a new feel to video gaming and it carried the torch for video game exercising. -

It wasn't our first smart phone but it was a strong leader in pushing everyone into relying on the phone computers we all need in our pockets today. This was brought to us by Steve Jobs and Apple. -

Jeff Bezos announced the kindle a library on a tablet. I would like to hope that this let to more individuals reading but at the very least it made reading more simple and enjoyable to me.
