The first bluetooth phone invented was the Ericsson T39, it was released in October of 2001. The company that invented this device is called Ericsson Mobile Communications. The first company to really use bluetooth in a phone is revolutionary. The amount of things that are connected with peoples phone bluetooth is crazy, people have there phones connected bluetooth to there microwaves, washers, and even dishwashers. This type of device will be used forever. -

In 2002, Blackberry dropped the BlackBerry 5810, the company's first smartphone and its also credited by many people that its the first ever smartphone created. Mike Lazaridis was the main a main founder of the BlackBerry phone that helped shape the future. It offered many things such as Internet access, Texting and calling, and also access to email. At the companies peak they once had 85 million subscribers at one time. They really helped shape the future of smartphones for Apple and Google. -
Nintendo Wii
The release date of the Wii was November 19 2006. Game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda were the main leaders in this console development. This a video game console that was popular for its movement-based controllers. Meaning in games you would have to pair up the controllers with a sensor built in the system and play based on live action. Sony and Microsoft both followed up with systems similar to the Wii. -
IPhone
The first Iphone was released on June 29, 2007. The company Apple invented the first IPhone and was announced by Steve Jobs. The IPhone dropped the original hard physical keyboard on the smartphones and just left a home button for easy access. Ever since this first Iphone Apple has revolutionized listening to music, taking good quality photos, and also mobile phone games. -
Kindle
On November 19 2007, the first kindle was released. Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos instructed his employees to build the worlds best electronic reader. Within hours of its release the Kindle completely sold out. Many people love the product and have said its a "IPod but for books". There are still many people who use the Kindle to this day.
