Cloud Computing
Cloud Computing is the use of computing resources that are delivered as a serviece from a network. Characteristics: the agility improves with the user's ability to reprovision technological infrastructure resources, a user can access the systems using a browser no matter where they are, server and storage devices can be shared, applications can be easily moved physically from one server to another and maintaining computing applications is easy. The concept came out in the 1950's. -
First Application Software: Apple Basic
The first application software, a.k.a., application or app, came with the Apple I. It was called Apple Basic and it featured immediate error messages as well as fast execution. It also hasd many games and it let you program in a higher level language. Furthermore, it was free. -
First Personal Computer
The First Personal Computer came out in May 1976. It was made out of wood and designed by Stephen Wozniak with the help of Steve Jobs. This first Personal Computer was called Apple I. It was the first single board computer with onboard read only memory. They were manually constructed. Advantages: the first time a coputer was accesible for common people.
Disasvantages: only had 4 KB. -
Gadgets
A gadget is a small technoogical object that allow you to use more than one application conected to the internet. The first gadget came out in 1998 and it was called mp3 player, promtply preceded by the ipod by Apple. For instance, an ipad or tablet, an ipod, an iphon, a smartphone, etc. This are all portable and have several different function incorporated. -
Web 2.0 Tools
Web 2.0 is used to describe web sites who use technology advanced to the earlier web sites. It is a change in the way software developers and end users use the web. It features social networking sites, user-created web sites, self-publishing platforms, tagging, and social bookmarking, among others. Its characteristics are, rich user experience, radical trust, user participation, dynamic content, web standards, scalability and metadata. -
Apps
An App is an application software to help the user perform a certain task. These are used by gadgets, which you can take with you everywhere. These yyou download and you install in your gadget. -
Smart Gadgets
Samrt Gadgets are gadgets that can self monitor, analyze and report technology by themselves. They are known to be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. No exact date. It registers the user's habbits, and uses technology in 3D, there are also several devices used for medical purposes. -

Present Personal Computer
It is any general purpose computer whos size, capabilities and original sales price is useful for every individual. It may be connected to a LAN either by cable or wireless. Furthremore it can be a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet, or a handheld PC. Nowadays a Pc's softwareand can be the tipical Windows from Microsoft, or the Mac OS X by Apple, or the free open source Linux and SBD systems. They already come ready to connect to the internet and to have everything wireless. -
Web 3.0
There is still on Web 3.0, but many people believe it is arpounfd the corner. You can say the Web 3.0 is the 3rd generation of the web enabled by the convergence of several emerging technology trends. people blieve it will be more opened, connected and intelligent, with the semantic Web technologies, distributed databases, natural language processing, machine learning, machine reasoning, and autonomous agents.
