  • Apple released the iPod

    Apple inc. released the first iPod on October 23, 2001 and invented by co-inventors Steve Jobs and Tony Fadell. The first iPod was a portable media player which had 5GB of storage allowing it to hold around 1,000 songs. Compared to any other MP3 players during this time period the iPod was unmatched.
  • Roomba vacuum cleaning robot released

    iRobot corporation released the first Roomba vacuum cleaning robot in 2002. The first Roomba vacuum was a robotic vacuum powered by battery and was able to navigate around obstacles and of course makes the chore of vacuuming that much easier! iRobot was created by many MIT roboticists such as Colin Angle, Helen Greiner, and Rodney Brooks but the Roomba vacuum itself was actually invented by a team eight.
  • Release of Google Docs

    The release of Google Docs was on March 9, 2006. The inventor is Sam Schillace, the Deputy CTO at Microsoft. Google Docs is one of the core parts of Google Workspace and allows people to easily create word document for whatever uses they may need. On top of it the use of Google Docs is free which made it even more accessible and helps people all over the world!

    The first generation iPhone was released on June 29, 2007. The iPhone has many inventors but the most well known inventor is Steve Jobs. The first iPhone changed the game for the mobile phone industry. The first generation was a combination of the iPod but instead a mobile phone and with internet communications. This invention made it easier for people to communicate and offered accessibility to various tools and utilities.

    The first iPad was released on April 3, 2010. The invention of the iPad was a big step towards a portable tablet. It allowed for people to be able to take their computers on the without the hassle of taking the whole computer and finding a place to plug into.
