Apple came out with the iPod in 2001 which reinvented the way we listen to music. There were MP3's before the iPod but with the iPod came iTunes and then the App Store which continues to make Apple a frontrunner in the technology department. -
Blackberry
When released in 2003 Mark Lazaridis and his company Blackberry completely changed the outlook of the cellular phone. The Blackberry paved the way for the smartphone today and was the first cell phone where you could browse the web, check your email, and do everything else a phone could do. -
iPhone
Apple invented the iPhone in 2007 and forever took control of the smartphone market. The iPhone is one of the most used smartphones in the world and did everything that the blackberry did but better and plenty more. -
Kindle
In 2007 Jeff Bezos and his company Amazon released the Kindle. It was the first e-reader and allowed you to purchase books straight from the device. This invention paved the way for the tablet market.
