The thumb drive was a groundbreaking invention because people could now transfer large amounts of files on something that was practically weightless. The thumb drive continues to be innovated as time goes on, with larger storage capacity as well as size alterations.

    I Pod
    The Ipod was revolutionary at the time for mobile access to music and other capabilities. It was developed by Apple in late October of 2001. Steve Jobs could be partially credited with the creation of the Apple I Pod as it was his company that created it. The Ipod was so great at the time because at the time, competing digital music players were simply unpractical because they were so big, as well as practically unusable.

    Possibly one of the largest, ever growing social media platforms has to be Facebook. Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerburg and his friends form Harvard. Facebook has revolutionized the way social media affects our lives, and with 2.7 billion active users, practically everyone is on it. People were given an outlet to talk about their lives as well as a means to stay connected to loved ones form great distances with the click of a button

The gaming console was known for its versions of cross-platform games which was revolutionary at the time as other competitors such as Sony could not match.

    The Amazon Kindle is one of the mostly widely recognized E-readers available. It was created in late 2007 by Amazon and could hold nearly 200 books on it. This changed many peoples lives at the time, as people could now take reading anywhere they pleased without having to lug around heavy books. The Kindle sold out in nearly 5 hours after release and allowed people who may not have read a lot in the past, an opportunity to expand their knowledge on the go.
