Windows XP

2000

Windows XP, this software helped make computers more accessible to the average consumer by having the computer software more straight forward and easy to use. This software was used to run many things not just computers some of which are ATM's there where thousands of ATM's using the software. Windows XP has been supported by windows from the 2000s all the way into 2014. 

iPod

2001

The iPod  released into 2001 and made having your music much more accessible for the consumer. The iPod was also great because it led to future innovation in tech like the iPhone and iPad. Without the ipod who knows where apple would be at in today day and age.

Blackberry

2003

Blackberry was a big innovation in cell phones making them much easier to use. Blackberry had 50% of the control of the smartphone market in one point so they where very popular in one point and time. Now blackberry is not doing too well in the cell phone market because they failed to have the innovation that they had back in the day.

Nintendo Wii

2006

-Nintendo Wii Nintendo popularized movement based games and controls. Nintendo's innovation led towards other movement based technology for games like Microsoft Kinect and Playstation's move. Also Nintendo proved that you can sell beyond the regular demographic of the other mainstream consoles.  

iPhone

2007

In 2007 apple game out with there first iPhone which is also known as apple's first cell phone. Apple sold 1 million iPhones 79 days after they first released. Later after it released it lead to the development of apps.
