Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos in the U.S. Since, Amazon has become a huge enterprise, as it is a worldwide shipping network, and it basically kick started e-commerce. eBay followed the next year, which also contributed to ideas of online shopping. -

Wifi was created by several different people, including but not limited to John Deane and John O'Sullivan. It is a way of getting internet with wireless transmitors. Wifi stands for Wireless Fidelity. Wifi is still widely used today, and a lot of technologies require it, or a similar form of it, in order to function properly. -
iMac Is Launched
The iMac was invented by Steve Jobs and was launched by the company Apple. The Macintosh system got rid of the floppy drive and instead used USB. Apple, and the Mac have since evolved into far greater pieces of technology, but they didn't exactly have humble beginnings. -

Larry Page and Sergey Brin co-created the company in 1998. Since then, the company and search engine have become very popular since then. Apparently over 70% of online search requests worldwide are handled by Google -
The Blackberry is Released
A company known as Research in Motion (now Blackberry) released the blackberry, and the original one was considered a two-way pager. The company went on to make smartphones of their own, but they also paved the way for current big smartphone companies like Apple and Android.
