  • Xbox

    Manufactured by Microsoft. The integrated Xbox Live service launched in November 2002 allowed players to play games online with a broadband connection.

    In April 2008, Myspace was overtaken by Facebook in the number of unique worldwide visitors, and was surpassed in the number of unique U.S. visitors in May 2009.

    As of September 2012, Facebook has over one billion active users, more than half of them using Facebook on a mobile device.

    Developed by Amazon.com. The Kindle came of it's name by branding consultant Michael Cronan and partner Karin Hibma suggested Kindle, meaning to light a fire. They felt this was an apt metaphor for reading and intellectual excitement.
