    The first successful artificial heart implantation into a human.
    The first implantation of an artificial heart was on April 4th, 1969, where the artificial heart was used to extend the patient's life until a human heart became available. The heart was removed after 64 hours, but the patient died from complications. The first permanent implantation occurred on December 2, 1982, and the patient survived 112 days with the artificial heart. The second recipient of the permanent artificial heart survived for 620 days after implantation.

    The World was the first commercial internet service provider in the world. Most universities and government installations attempted to ban it from use, however, it was eventually granted permission to provide public internet access on an "experimental basis".

    Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerburg and his college roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes. When it was first released, it was only for Stanford students, but it expanded to other ivy league schools, and then high school and college students, before going public for anyone over the age of 13 in 2006.

In later years, there were also accusations of Bing coping Google's results, which was found to be true in later years. There were also many problems with illegal access to "adult" information in many countries.
