On February 14th, 2005 a platform called Youtube was invented by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. Youtube significantly impacted the digital world because it allowed individuals to post whatever video content they wanted. This opened up a door for individuals to share their creativity with the world. -

On November 11th, 2006, Sony released its next-gen gaming console called the Play Station 3. Once again Sony blew all previous gaming consoles out of the water with this brand new system. Its immense improvement in graphics and processing power made it a huge deal in the technology community. -
Iphone
On January 9th, 2007 Apple released arguably one of the most pivotal inventions to date, the iPhone. The software within the iPhone was unlike anything the world had ever seen. It allowed users to do much more than what the standard phone at the time was able to do.
