Nintendo 64 is Released
I was 2 years old, I began playing video games at a young age since my brother was older and also loved them. Graphics are somewhat simple. Games are cartrides that are 'plugged' into console. -
Gamecube Console Comes Out
Got the Gamecube console. Graphics are more advanced than the Nintendo 64. Games are now in disk form rather than cartridge. -
Xbox Original Released
First Xbox. Advanced graphics compared to what I am used to. Lots of new games to choose from. -
Nintendo Wii Released
Purchase first Nintendo Wii. This features wireless controllers where the console can detect their motion, creating a sort of virtual reality experience on screen. -
First Cell Phone
In middle school, a friend gives me my first 'cell phone'. It was a basic flip phone with minimal abilities. -
Created Email Address
Created my first email address in order to keep in touch with friends who I had moved away from. I begin using email as a regular form of communication. -
Second Cell Phone
My mom passes her blackberry down to me. Texting becomes much easier as I have a full keyboard now. I can access the internet and various simple apps. -
Facebook - First Form of Social Media
I create a Facebook at age 14. It is my first form of social media EVER. I am able to re connect with friends that I knew when I lived in Maine (I relocated to VA). Messaging is far easier than emailing. Simplifies the way I keep connected. -
First iPhone
My First IPhone. It is an iPhone 4, and feels like a huge jump from my last cell phones. Apps are easy, distracting (hehe), and accessible. Social Media is much easier to access. -
Instagram
Instagram is the newest and most popular way to connect. It allows you to post a stream of just photos in order to keep in touch with friends. -
Snapchat
The newest app is released... snapchat. This is a truly innovative way to keep in touch with friends, it allows you to send real time videos to friends in a text message type fashion, and allows them to reply quickly and conveniently through photo exchange. -
Catalyst Data Collection Application
Begin using Catalyst as a data keeper for my work as a behavioral technician. Allows us to keep client data stored in app instead of writing everything down. It is extremely helpful in saving time. -
Booker Software
At the salon I work at, I began using a program called Booker. This program allows us to keep and book clients through the click of a few buttons. Allows salons to keep data stored in the database rather than keeping paper files. -
Xbox One Released
I am now an adult and long-time Xbox owner. I purchase my own Xbox One. Graphics have advanced by a longshot. New games are released and old games are re-released with better graphics. You can access apps and even play movies on the Xbox now. -
Current Phone, Iphone 7+
By far the most advanced cell phone that I have owned. Camera quality is incredible. Applications are booming and easy to use, seemingly endless options. Phone is far thinner than the previous model that I had owned.
