Netflix Introduced Streaming Only
Originally founded in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph, Netflix forced companies like Blockbuster out with their options for movie rentals sent to your home. In 2010 they came out with a streaming only option. This allowed people to watch movies without having to go out and rent a disk.
