Invented Arthur Scherbius it was intended to be sold as a commercial product and not used for military activities. Originally invented in 1919 it wasn't used to its full potential until 1939 when the Nazis used it to encode their messages. -

Wernher von Braun invented the first long range ballistic missile for Germany then later moving to the US at the end of WW2. -
Atomic Bomb
Invented by J. Robert Oppenheimer on July 16th 1945. It was used to end the second world war by dropping it on two major cities in japan. -

Designed by J. Presper Eckert, the ENIAC is the first general purpose computers.
