    In the 1920s, radio programs became a popular source of educational broadcasting for schools. This allowed the students to learn from a broadcast rather than listening to the same instructor they always had to listen to. This is as close as they could get to YouTube videos at that time.

    Open Educational Resources (OER)
    OER allowed learning materials to be accessed online for all of the online courses with MIT. Along with this, the resourses could be repurposed to others at no charge.

    Blogs are a great way of hearing other people's thoughts. Discussion board videos are similar to blogs in a sense. Though they are not for talking about our everyday lives, this is a platform for expressing opinions and thoughts.

    YouTube can be used as a resource for a variety of needs. It is a great way to learn. It has videos from educated people on just about any topic. YouTube is a great place for students to look when they need help.

    Social media can be a great resource for learning. It is easily accessed and allows information to be spread widely as well.
  • Open Textbooks

    Open Textbooks
    Open textbooks would be a great resource to have. Looking at a student's account, the textbook fees are not cheap. Allowing all students access to a free version of the book they are required would be a great service to the student.
