My Life

First Family Computer
I didn't use our first family computer very often, but my brother would play the game "Snake," and I loved watching him do this. -
Got a Nintendo 64
My brother and I played on this thing so much. We were obsessed. My favorite game was either Donkey Kong or Mario Kart. -
First Cell Phone
My dad allowed me to get my first cell phone. My celbrity crush, Teddy Geiger, ended up signing the front of it. It was the greatest day of my life, up until that point (or so I thought at the time). -
First iPod
My first iPod was a blue Nano. I got it for Christmas from my older brother, and I remember it had my name engraved on the back. It got stolen only a couple of months later by someone at school, and the only way I got it back was by identifying that it had my name on the back. I was lucky. -
Got a Wii
My sister actually bought the Wii, but we loved playing Guitar Hero and Mario on it. It was a really cool new way of playing video games, with the wireless controller and pointing it at the screen. -
Made a FaceBook Page
A lot of my friends had already made their FaceBook pages, and one of my friends came over and made one for me. I was really skeptical of it at first because I was content with using MySpace. -
First Laptop
My parents got me my first laptop, a Toshiba, on Christmas. I was so excited to have one! It ended up being not that great of a computer, but I was still happy about it. -
Made my Blog
I had just started college at BYU-Idaho and I wanted to show the world what I was up to. It has ended up being a great source for me to journal my thoughts and the things that my husband and I have been up to. -
Got my MacBook Pro
I had a Tobisha laptop that I used in high school and at the beginning of college, but it was very slow and hard to use. So, my mom ended up buying be a MacBook Pro, which I still use to this day. -
First iPhone
My life became a lot easier when I got my iPhone. I had previously had really cheap cell phones that worked totally great, but it was nice to finally be able to look things up on the Internet on my phone. My iPhone saved us when our car broke down outside of Las Vegas on a roadtrip I was on with my husband. I was able to look up different towing and autoshop companies.
