    One of Apple's staple products alongside the earlier versions of the the iPhone and iPod touch. It was more for utility and entertainment purposes rather than communication. It became iconic for its own merits and is still being produced today. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for its cousin the iPod Touch.
  • The Oculus VR headset

    One of gaming's first forays into making Virtual Reality, well, a reality was the invention of the Oculus VR headset in 2012 along with the inception of the company Oculus. Development and refinement continued until the first consumer VR model, the Oculus Rift CV1, was released to the public in 2016. Since then, we have had the Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, and their later more advanced models.

    You are more likely to find more people that uses Windows than Mac. However, that is to stand to reason as Windows as an OS is still constantly growing much like its competition. Windows 10 was released in 2015, allowing for a much smoother look and supposedly smoother experiences for users.

    Nintendo struggled to maintain audience appeal when Microsoft and Sony were making big leaps. After the Wii U flopped, they needed something not only to recapture consumer interests, but also innovate with something new. In 2017, the Nintendo Switch was released to the public. It received critical and audience acclaim for being the first system that acts both as a home console and a hand held. Followed by some highly praised releases like breath of the wild, Nintendo was back on top.

    With ever growing audience in the gaming industry, studios and companies must find new ways to be more inclusive. In the case of Microsoft, they developed and released the Xbox Adaptive Controller in 2018. Specifically designed for those with disabilities that limit hand and arm mobility, Microsoft aimed to remedy those hurdles for Xbox to provide entry for those who have these disabilities and create a more inclusive landscape.
