    Email- Ray Tomlinson
    While working at BBN, which is now known as Raytheon BBN Technologies, he invented the first application for network email using the ARPANET system. His invention allowed for messages to be sent to other computers via the use of the @ symbol. This form of communication changed the way people communicated in almost every aspect of society. Today, millions of people continue to use email to communicate.

    Floppy Disc-Alan Shugart
    While working at IBM, Alan Shugart and his team started development on the floppy disc in the late 60's. The product was not released until years later in 1971. The floppy disc was portable and allowed information to be transported from computer to computer.

    Cell Phone- Martin Cooper
    Martin Cooper invented the first radio cell phone while he was employed at Motorola. He was assigned to lead a team to create a product that could be sold on the market. Their product was called the DynaTAC and nicknamed "the brick." The DynaTAC could support 30 minutes of talk time before it needed to be charged for 10 hours! The Radio Telephone System changed the lives of individuals, gifting them with freedom to be in communication with the world without having to be in a stationary place!

    8080 microprocessor-Federico Faggin and Masatoshi Shima
    The 8080 is a 8-but microprocessor that was created by Faggin and Shima while employed at Intel. The microprocessor was used in many of the first microcomputers such as the MITS Altair.

    While working at Kodak Sasson created the first digital camera. The camera could capture an image, convert it to an electronic signal and then digitize it onto a casette tape. The invention was not put on the market.
