First year of teaching, an experience I hold in my heart because of the mistakes and achievements. School Mater Dei is a catholic school located in “Los laches” Bogota I taught English from first to eleventh grade and I was the tutor of eight grade. My teacher development for this year was based in the methods and strategies to use with my students so I had to research, read and ask for information and suggestions from my teachers and colleagues at the UFJDC. -
First encounter with a social situation that affected my teaching
I was faced with a situation that influenced my teaching because i couldn't help more than I wished such as Santiago’s abuse and abandonment by his parents.he was an student from second grade at the school. -

Second year of teaching. this time in a completely different social status and with completely different students during this year I taught to older students. People from 16 to 65 years old using a method given by the company.
my teacher development challenge for this year was to improve my English level it was necessary to teach to higher level students so I had to take my first language test (IELTS) so I took a preparation course before taking the test and getting a B2 level. -

Third year of teaching and the second one working at the same company but this time I was working full time and because of personal problems, I had to abandon my degree at the UDFJSC. I started a project for the company to change the methodology, which was used to teach to kids under 12 but after administrative evaluation it was not possible and the project was abandoned. -

First year in an Administrative position, I accepted the charge to improve my CV. This year was a big experience because I took a different role and I had to study and read about managing and dealing with company situations. I realized that this is not what I was looking for and applied for a teacher role. -

Fifth year of teaching, working close where I was living. This advantage was helpful to study and practice before taking for the second time the IELTS and getting the C1. During this year I started teaching online and private classes I notices that I could use the best part of the methods that I had learned through previous year experiences. I started making the process to continue with my degree in teaching languages. -

First year of teaching and moving to Medellin. Because of the teaching context and a different background, I asked again for teaching suggestions from my colleagues and I had the help of a more experienced teacher in this field. Comfama gave me the chance to apply the methodology I consider was the best for teaching them. I worked with students from three to 65 years old and a flexible schedule to study. -

I realized that this is what I was looking for as a teacher and asked for a full time position teaching to kindergarten only. I presented TKT getting the Band score three and took two courses on material design and pedagogy to kindergarten. I have being applying different methodologies and strategies to improve my teaching and to get my students attention and to teach not just a second language but different science fields. -
