At the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift won many Grammys. She won Album of the Year, Best Female Country Vocal Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album. She was also nominated for four others. -
Red
Taylor released her fourth album which featured songs that were considered pop rather than country. Red featured the song "I Knew You Were Trouble" which is known to be the breakup song Taylor wrote about Harry Styles. -

Taylor released her fifth album however, this was her first all-pop album. It sold more than 10 million copies. It was the beginning of a new era. -
Feud
Kanye West used lyrics about Taylor in his song "Famous". It escalated after Kim Kardashian released a video of Kanye asking Taylor for her permission to use the lyrics about her. The video showed, what seemed to be, Taylor agreeing. -
A step back
Taylor received backlash from people because of what happened between Taylor, Kanye, and Kim. Taylor's comment section on Instagram was flooded with snake emojis. She took a step back from the spotlight. -
Reputation
Taylor swift returned back into the spotlight by releasing her sixth album "Reputation". Her songs, and edgy look, were in response to all of the haters she had gained. However, she reclaimed her name and reputation. -
Scooter Braun
Taylor's former record label and the masters of her first six albums were bought by Scooter Braun. In order to gain full ownership over her work, she announced she was planning to re-record her first six albums. -
Lover
Taylor signed a new record deal with a new label a year before "Lover", her seventh album, was released in 2019. It sold faster than any other album in the US that year. -
Folklore and Evermore
Taylor released her eighth album in July called "Folklore". It was the first album to sell 1 million copies in the US that year. Folklore also hit no. 1 on the charts. A few months later, she released her ninth album called "Evermore". -
Taylor's Version
Taylor's contract allowed her to start re-recording in November 2020. She planned to release Fearless (Taylor's Version) on April 9th, 2021, and Red (Taylor's Version) on November 12th, 2021. -
Midnights
Taylor released her 10th album "Midnights". It is the fourth album she owns.
