    To oppose Tea taxes, the colonists sneaked onto British ships dressed as Native Americans and dumped tea into the ocean. This act of defiance helped further the fight for Independence and was an early sign of America's asymmetrical strategies of protest.

    The British led troops went late at night in an attempt to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock and have them be hung.This plot was thwarted by American spies who sent word to Paul Revere and company. They then rode through the night warning people of the impending British invasion. What ensued was a battle between the redcoats and the minutemen and the first real American victory. This was asymmetrical for the British because they attacked at night.

The document, largely written by Thomas Jefferson, explained the colonists goals in this revolution. This was largely asymmetrical due to it being a document on independence, not two sides fighting.
