In the 1930's the Jews were socially discriminated in Canada from many things like social clubs, beaches, and resorts. There was also an immigration rules and didn't take any Jew refugees in at the time because of Nazi's and the holocaust was happening at the time.

The government demanded over 22,000 Japanese-Canadian's to leave the Pacific coast area due to the attack on Pearl Harbor, so at the time there was a lot of discrimination towards Japanese people and by 1947 the government deported all Japanese because they saw them as a threat.

This was the year that all woman finally got the right to vote in nationally elections. All voting discrimination including Aboriginal women was removed and they were all able to vote.
