UN MILITIA ATTACK CIVILIANS WITH 10 CASUALTIES
Syrian protesters challenged their President Bashar Al-Assad's rule. The UN milita called an end to these protestors by attacking the civilians that gathered near Omari mosque. A number of 10 deaths were informed. Civilians were demanding political freedom and end to erruption but the Syrian forces were against these protesters that resulted in these violence. I believe this is important to include because it shows the outcome of the consequences among their own people because of the protest. -
No Ambulances Allowed, 22 Casualities
Residents of Deraa witnessed security forces firing at protestors as they are moving closer to Damascus. Premises of the shooting were restricted from ambulances with 22 killed in the streets of Deraa. The duty of a soldier were to preserve life of their own people, yet this is the opposite by hindering the aid of saving lives. I believe that this is important to include because even the government has prevented aid to lives that are wounded by the shooting. -
Bashar al-Assad brought turmoil
President Bashar al-Assad brought confusion to people across the country. Thousands of protesters demand political freedom and an end to Ba'ath party rule. For over six weeks, 280 casualities were caused by the security forces in Syria. President Obama encourages stop to the violence and exercise restraint instead of repression. I believe it is important to include because it has informed others such as our president the outrage of Syria. -
Syrian Forces Force Entry into Residenc
Syrian soldiers have broken into residence of Damascus making an force entry to arrest and attack civlians of these residents. Tanks and armored artillery have formed a division for an attack against the peaceful protestors demanding for the removal of Bashar al-Assad. The army division crushed protests in the southern city of Deraa with shellfire and machine-guns. This event is important due to the security enforcing their entry agisnt their people's own property and initaiate brutality. -
40 Protesters Died During Prayer
Urgent message from the Arab League to the government announcing the news of the discontinuance of killing the protestors. Yet, the governemnt did not listen to this message and decided to fire while protestors are praying on friday afternoon. It has proven the ignorance of what the Syrian government has to offer to the world that their violence was not going to come to an end.
