    The Industrial Revoloution was the birth of modern day technology. Most people think of the Industrial Revoloution as a time of death and sickness but the bright side of it is that all of the factories and machines created had made a better life for us.
  • First Fleet

    First Fleet
    England had needed more jail space for the convicts that lived there. So England started sending convicts to America. Since now America was disobaying England from having anymore convicts being sent, the Govener had an idea of getting Captin Arthur Phillip to send all of the convicts in the jails to Van Diemens Land. So he did that . In 1787 Captin Arthur Phillip set sail to Van Diemens Land along with another 45,000 passengers.
  • The Arrival

    In 1788 Captain Arthur Phillip arrived at Sydney cove. Once he arrived he first put up the flag of Great Britain.
  • Separation

    In 1825 van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) was separated from NSW (New South Wales).
  • Borders Have Been Moved

    Borders Have Been Moved
    In 1825, the border of NSW was moved West. Allowing more space for for colonisation and buildings to be developed.
  • New States Coming

    From 1825-1863 the Northern Territory was a part of NSW and part of the Southern Australia from 1836-1911.
  • American Civil War

    The American Civil War began by when the allies of the American had bombarde the Union Soldiers at Fort Sumter, South Carolina 1861. So America couldn't hold anymore of the convicts.
