The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
At 8:26 a.m. Japanese time, a B-29 bomber plane flew over the Japanese city of Hiroshima and dropped the world's first atomic bomb. The blast directly killed about 80,000 people and injured 35,000. At least another 60,000 would be dead by the end of the year from other effects of the bomb... Unfortunately, Japan didn't surrender leading to the world's second-largest amphibious landing in history. -

Argatiya, a longstanding ally between the US, Maynilakyo, and Meridia and a former Imperial Russian Colony was war-torn. A referendum was held. With Argatiya successfully joined Maynilakyo at an 83.4%. The United States and Meridia claim that the referendum was fraudulent. -
