Four Bandits
Sun Yat-Sen was part of a revolutionary group called the Four Bandit Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese when he was in Hong Kong. Sun was getting frustrated with governing of the Qing Dynasty. -

Sun Yat-Sen earned the license as a doctor practicing Christian and Western medicine. He graduated from Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese. -
Revive China Society: Guangzhou Uprising
Sun Yat-Sen founded the Revive China Society in Hawaii and planned the first uprising in Guangzhou. The uprising was a failure as information was leaked and many members were executed. Sun was in exile and went to Japan. -
Huizhou uprising
Sun Yat-Sen launched the Huizhou uprising with the help of triads but it was again a failure. -
Tongmenghui
In Tokyo, Sun Yat-Sun unified a group with revolutionary Chinese Students called Tongmenghui. This group led more uprisings that eventually failed. -
1911 Revolution
Sun Yat-Sen was not directly involved in this uprising as he was still in exile but one of his members had successfully led this revolution to victory. The Qing Dynasty was defeated and Sun returned to China. -
Presidency
Sun Yat-Sen became the first precident of the Republic of China after another revolution and political chaos with Yuan. -
Death
Sun Yat-Sen died at the age of 58 in Beijing, China.
