Sumer: Sumerians Developed Cuneiform, written on stone tablets. Had clay. Stone tablets very heavy but lasted a long time.
Egypt: Egyptians Used Hieroglyphics on Papyrus. had Papyrus plans. Paper doesn't last very long. -

Upper and Lower Egypt United by King Narmer (aka King Menes)
King Narmer united Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. Lower Egypt had a red crown and upper Egypt had a white crown and King Narmer wore them both. He named himself the Pharaoh of Egypt. -
