God saves Isaac

1130 BCE

As they made their way up the mountain Abraham places Isaac down on a piece of wood and prepared for the sacrifice. As Abraham swung his blade God stopped him and told him he passed the test. He sparred Isaac and brought them a sheep to take Isaacs's place in the sacrifice.

Abraham has to Sacrifice Isaac

1129 BCE

God appeared to Isaac and instructed him to sacrifice his son. Abraham struggled with this decision but he ultimately followed God's Request. He took Isaac to a faraway remote mountain where he would be sacrificed.

Isaac Grows Up

1127 BCE

As Isaac grew up Abraham taught him how to be a Sheppard and how to be a carpenter.

Isaac is born

1111 BCE

After waiting about 9 months Sarah had given birth to her newborn son. God told Abraham and Sarah to name the child Isaac and they did.

Abraham and Sarah want a child

1110 BCE

Abraham and Sarah had tried to have a child for many years but it never happened and it seemed as though it would never happen.

God gives Abraham a child

1110 BCE

After hearing Abraham and Sarah's requests for a child God delivered and Sarah had become pregnant.

Circumcision to Seal the Covenant

1100 BCE

To honor the Covenant between Abraham and God all his descendants must be circumcised.

Abraham marries Sarah

1100 BCE

At the age of 99 Abraham married Sarah and they had a wonderful marriage.

Battled the Kings

1078 BCE

Abraham fought and defeated the 5 kings

Abraham's Covenant with God

1076 BCE

God came to Abraham and they created a covenant. God told Abraham that he would provide him with great land and peace as long as he and his kin would live a life of God.

The story of Abraham

Abraham was around the age of 73 and was living in the village of Ur. One day God called upon him and told him to leave. He wanted Abraham to build a nation it would later become Canaan.
