In sixth grade he received his ham radio license, building an "adder/subtractor machine". -
While at University of Colorado, he wrote first programs in his version of FORTRAN. -
Wozniak designed the Blue Box, which is a device for hacking into telephone network without having to pay for the long distance calls. -
Wozniak dropped out of college and started designing calculators at Hewlett Packard -
Wozniak became apart of the Homebrew Computer Club in San Francisco. They later would develop the worlds first microporcessors, Intel Corporation 8080. -
Wozniak teamed up with Steve Jobs and founded Apple Computers in 1976 with Ronald Wayne. -
Wozniak and the Homebrew Computer Club produced the Apple II. -
Wozniak was injured when his private plan crashed while taking off out of Santa Cruz Sky park which caused him to lose his memory. -
After retiring from Apple he was awarded with the Natiaonal Medal of Technology by Ronald W. Reagan. -
Attended De Anza College and University of Cal Berkely where he was given his degree from Berkley in 1986. -
He partnered with Mitchel Kapor in creating the Electronic Frontier Foundation that provided legal aid for computer hackers facing criminal charges. -
He was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame and awarded the Heinz award for Technology. -
Wozniak founded Wheels of Zeus, a venture with the aim of developing wireless GPS technology. -
Wozniak became the chief scientist at Fusion-Io who produced storage devices.
